About

to create offices, housing and industrial projects that inspire health, happiness and prosperity

We are architects, passionately so, which makes architecture our preferred medium to celebrate the most wonderful thing imaginable: life.

Knowing that you spend 90% of your one life indoors, we decided on something outrageously obvious: to create offices, housing and industrial projects that inspire health, happiness and prosperity.

What if architecture commits to that and only that? This is how we make that happen.

Yugening a space has such a profound effect on you, you never want to leave it again.

A room can have such an intense effect on you, you never want to set foot in it again. In most cases however, this process is far less noticable at first. Yet slowly and gradually, year after year, you start to feel less focussed, less energized, less you.

Why is that? It’s the architecture, stupid.

The YUGENING design process inspires the exact opposite: it creates spaces that have such a profound effect on you, you never want to leave them again.

This is a three step process that aims for the synergy between three superpowers WELL, ECO & TECH.

Biophilic architecture is an expression of biophilia in the built environment.

Based on the theories of psychoanalyst Erick Sellgman Fromm and biologist Edward Osborn Wilson Biophilic architecture seeks to integrate natural elements into the artificial environment in order to reap the benefits of being ‘in nature’ on the individual and societal level.

Biophilic architecture appropriately incorporates natural materials, light, views, vegetation, water bodies and movement for greater creativity, productivity, engagement, quality of life, health, wellbeing and sensible longterm profitability.

The YUGENING proces sees biophilia as one of its three guiding principles.
