BIOPHILIC

adjective - [ˈbʌɪə(ʊ)ˈfɪlɪk]

What are biophilic cities?

Observing the growing trend of urbanization, biophilic cities aim to build sustainable and resilient habitats in terms of social and communal structures, economic prosperity and environmental issues in times of economic uncertainty, climate change and other challenges that face a highly urbanized environment.

Biophilic cities aim to achieve this by providing closeness to nature and a reestablishment of our connection to nature through biophilic urban planning.
